Yes, Yes, Yes, YES! I am so pumped, can you feel it? Finally our team rocked someone's house and I had a decent game too. Lightng it up for a career high 23 points including a sweet 3/3 from 3pt land, I was able to add in 2 steals, 5 assissts and 14 rebs ... whew ... what a night. Definately the night of my career so far and so much better as our team won a game! Zoran Pavlovic had a great game as well cranking in 13 and gathering up 31 boards .. what a beast man!
Despite all the positives, I got a gripe. What gives with that man of the match thing! What's a dawg got to do to get some respect people? Sure the cat that got that award had a good game but lets do the math.
Points 23 - 15 winner .. me
% .375 to .238 winner... me
Steals 2 to 1 winner ... me
Asst 5 to 3 winner .... me
Rebs 14 to 35 winner .... Adrian
Fouls 0 to 1 winner ..... me
5 of the 6 stat categories I lead on and the dude even played almost 6 more min than me! Whats up? I got to get my agent on this one boys. This just ain't right. I hope the officials that choose this crazy award can help me learn what the heck I need to do to get a bone!
I have never been so pumped about a good game in both a good and bad way. I'm still young and you better believe I'm gonna learn from this to get better. Just give me some time.

Sorry to let my boys down tonight
I don't know what happened. I had the time on the floor, I had the shot opportunities, but the rock would not go down for me tonight. I thank all my boys on the floor for being patient with me tonight and having faith that I would pull it out. I think I still need to choose my shots better as many of my shot were taken with the defense right in my grill. Well watch out tonight, I got a mission to make it up to my team. Shooting 1/12 sucks anyway you look at it. Sure I was able to chip in with a couple of steals, but I need to do more. Mr. Cooper and Mr. Snow from the Rams better lace those sneakers up tight tonight as I am gonna loose those suckers on the floor pretty bad. I got something to prove tonight!

Ohgie Mcgee does well in first 1-on-1
I can't believe it! I was so close! Actually entering into this competition my only goal was to have a good showing. The top place players are listed below and I would like to congratulate everyone for putting up good game. Many of the matches were close with only a point or two determining the winner. I would love to say my skills rocked the world, but I have to admit that luck of the draw helps a bit too. With more practice I am hopeful that I can do well on my next day off.

Welcome to my diary

This is Ohgie McGee slapping down the action from my experience in the Cyberdunk League. I joined the Golden League soon after the season started almost 30 days ago. I felt lucky to be drafted by the San Jose Bats as they did not have anyone on the roster to dish the rock. This team had all it's power up front with the big heavies. When I joined we had no SG, no PG and that freeked me out, but with tons of SF floating around and me filling in the PG, we were able to fill in bodies. Unfortunately, filling in bodies does not help with winning. The Bats are in the celler and don't look to climb out any time soon. Over the last few days we have picked up some new tallent including some competition for me at PG. It's all good as everyone needs a reason to keep the drive going and believe me, no one gonna take my position. Sure I'm under six feet tall but I like it low to the ground. With all those trees lumbering around me, that ball has to drop quite the distance to the ground making picks as easy as stealing from babies for me.
Comming into the league I needed to increase my confidence some. Coach Duca did wonders for me even though we took almost two weeks working on things. I do feel better able to handle some of the presure out there.
I got criticized by the media during one game as I really stunk it up on the floor. I couldn't land a hoop if my life depended on it. Coach approached me and told me I needed to hit the practice floor with one Patrick Leaky Lahey and I would be scoring all over the floor inside a week. Cool! Well, let me tell you, that was a week from hell! Not sure where that guy got his licence to coach but, I'm pretty sure his methods are not legal in every country. I guess you could say it was successful now as I can land any shot if I can shake my defender. Of course that is what I am working on now : )
I hope to post my progress every few days, but knowing how life is I may just be able to hit up the journal on my days off every week (today is one of those days).
If your interested in hitting the virtual floor with me and thousands of other players, you gotta go check out them crazy dogs at www.cyberdunk.com. Best of all, this whole thing is free! Can you handle that?

I knew you could!
